Error 0x803f8007 occurs when you try to start an Xbox One game or game add-on
You see the following error code and message when you try to launch an Xbox One game or game add-on:
Something went wrong
This may mean you no longer own the content or no longer have permission to access the content. For example, you can’t access a game because you received a refund for it, or your game pre-order was canceled.
To troubleshoot this issue, check to see if the content was refunded, canceled, or purchased on your Microsoft account page:
- Sign in to your account. Scroll down until you see the game or game add-on you purchased.
Note You may need to change the date range of your order history to see the transaction.
- If the order status is Canceled or Refunded, you no longer own the game or game add-on, and you won’t be able to start or play it. You can re-purchase the content if you still want to own it.
- If you don’t see the game or game add-on in your order history, search for it in Microsoft Store. If you see an option to Buy a Copy on the product description page, this means you no longer have access to the content, and you’ll need to purchase it again if you want to use it.
