Error C00D1374 occurs when connecting to Zune Marketplace using the Zune Music + Video software
Note As of November 15, 2015, the Zune service has been discontinued. This may cause errors when attempting to stream or download content or update the service.
You see the following error and message when connecting to Zune Marketplace using the Zune Music + Video software:
This means that the Zune Music + Video software can't connect to Zune Marketplace.
Solution 1: Go to the Service Status page to see whether the Zune service is experiencing a temporary network problem.
Solution 2: Make sure that your browser isn't set up to work offline. To check this in Internet Explorer, click File, and then make sure that the Work offline menu item is not selected.
Solution 3: Make sure that you're connected to the Internet. To check, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet, and then click View network status and tasks. This screen will tell you whether you're connected to a network or not. If you're not connected, click Connect to a network from the status screen, and then select an available network.
Solution 4: Wait a while before trying to connect to Marketplace again. There may be a problem with Marketplace that is being resolved.
Solution 5: Try changing the password to your Microsoft account password. If you forgot your password, go to You have forgotten your Microsoft account password, and then follow the steps to change your password. After you get your new password, sign in to your Zune account, and then try Marketplace again.
Solution 5: Check your Internet Explorer LAN and proxy settings. From an open browser, click the Tools icon, click Internet options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings. Make sure that the Automatically detect settings and Use a proxy server options are not selected.
