If you purchased FIFA 18 from the digital store, your game will be available in your library. Go to My games & apps > Games and look for FIFA 18 in the Ready to install tab.
If you purchased FIFA 18 on disc, insert your disc and the game will automatically start to install. You can also find it under My games & apps within Games.
If you purchased a FIFA 18 game bundle, such as The Ronaldo Edition or the ICON edition, your game will come with downloadable content which you can download to your console to play. Within My games & apps, highlight the FIFA 18 tile and press the Menu button on your controller to access Manage game. From there, you’ll find your content under Ready to install. Make sure you download before launching the game, so everything appears where you’d expect it.
There are three versions of FIFA 18 available to purchase:
If you own a Premium Gold Pack bundle, you will receive these over a five or 20-week period, depending on which edition of the game you purchased. You will not receive these all at once.
If you played FIFA 17 then until December 31st, 2017, you can transfer your points to FIFA 18. Visit Transfer your FIFA Points from FIFA 17 to FIFA 18 for more info.
If you purchased FIFA Points and they’re not appearing on your account, do the following:
If you don’t see a transaction on your account, and you weren’t charged for the points, you’ll need to purchase them again.
The first time you play FIFA 18, your game will take a content update. This is to ensure that you’re playing with the latest team rosters. When you launch the game, you’ll see a message letting you know that you need to update before you can play. You’ll need to be online when you take the update. If you have your console set to automatically update then you may not see a notification, as it will update in the background.
If you’re seeing problems playing online games or experiences, such as FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) then check to make sure that you have the latest updates. Go to My games & apps > Games, highlight FIFA 18 and press the Menu button on your controller. Select Manage game, then select Updates.
If you are playing offline or have not connected to Xbox Live, you may not have the latest version of the game. If you’re having problems, connect to Xbox Live to get the latest updates.
