Buy bundled content on Xbox One

Besides selling individual products, Microsoft Store on Xbox One also sells multiple pieces of digital content together as a “bundle.”

For example, a bundle could include a game, downloadable content, and a virtual currency pack together for a single price. Usually, you get a cost savings from purchasing a bundle of products that you don't get by purchasing the products individually.

    How to purchase a bundle

Whether you’re using a credit card, prepaid code, or season pass, follow these steps to purchase a bundle:

    1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Select Store, and then scroll down and select Browse games.
    3. Select Search games and then enter the title of the game bundle.
    4. Select the game bundle from the list.
    5. Select Buy.
    6. Verify that the payment option listed is correct, and then click Buy to purchase the game bundle.
Note If you’re using a prepaid code or season pass to purchase a game bundle, see How to redeem an Xbox prepaid code or Redeem your code or gift card for more information.

To verify whether the purchase was successful:

    1. In a web browser, sign in to your Microsoft account.
    2. Select Payment & billing, and then select Order history to view your purchase history.

How to install content from a bundle

When you purchase a bundle on Xbox One, you get the choice of which products within the bundle you'd like to download. Watch the following video to learn how you can manage your game bundles.

Once you complete the purchase, click the Manage button on the product details page. Then you can select individual products to download, or you can install all of the products in the bundle immediately.

If you'd like to download some of the products from the bundle at a later time, a tile for the bundle you purchased can be found in the Ready to Install section of My games & apps. Here's how to find it:

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    2. Select Games & apps > Games, and then go to the Ready to Install tab.
    3. Highlight the bundle and press the Menu button  on your controller.
    4. Select Manage game.
    5. Select the individual items you'd like to install, or select Install all.

Note If you’re having issues downloading your bundled content, see Problems downloading a game or app on Xbox One.

How to download add-ons you’ve purchased as part of a bundle

If multiple add-ons were included in a single purchase, such as a season pass or a Limited Edition game bundle, you may need to download them separately. There are two ways to download the individual items:

    • Inside the game, look for a store. Find the component items of the season pass, and download them there.
    • Download the individual add-ons from Microsoft Store. Here’s how:
      1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
      2. Select Games & apps > Games, and go to the Ready to Install tab.
      3. Select the game, then press the Menu button on your controller and select Manage game.
      4. Install the add-on you want.

For more information about how to find and download bundle add-ons, see Find Xbox One content that you've downloaded.
