    Error 0x80153003 occurs when you try to use Games for Windows Live

    Problem

    You see the following error code and message when you try to use Games for Windows Live:

    Error: Can't connect to Live. The logon error code is 0x80153003

    This may mean that the service is temporarily unavailable.

    Solutions

    Check Xbox Live Service status to see if there are any service alerts posted for Games for Windows Live. If there are no service alerts, wait a few minutes and try again.

    If you continue to experience the problem, contact Xbox Support.
