Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Solution 2: Change your payment option
There might be a problem with the payment option associated with your account. To change or update your payment option, go to Change a payment option, select Update a payment option on the left side of the screen, and then follow the instructions.
Solution 3: Update your billing information
There may be a problem with the billing information associated with your account. Make sure that the billing address for your Microsoft account matches the billing address you use with your credit card company. Also, make sure that your card's expiration date hasn't passed. Here's how:
Note If there's an error, select Edit profile, and then follow the instructions to update the information.
Solution 4: Check whether the content is still available for rent on Movies & TV
If you get this error while trying to play Movies & TV content that you previously downloaded, go to the Movies & TV Store to make sure the content is still available for rent. If it's not available, other versions might be available through other Xbox Live apps. Try doing a search on your Xbox console for the title.
