    Saving your backward-compatible Xbox game

When you're playing a backward-compatible game on Xbox One, save your game frequently. If you open another game or full-screen app without saving, you'll lose your unsaved progress.

Note Xbox 360 game progress can be saved on Xbox 360 and continued on Xbox One. For Original Xbox games, saved games—whether you were playing on your Original Xbox or your Xbox 360 console—can’t be accessed on Xbox One.
