Error 0x803F7000 occurs when you try to start a game or app on your Xbox One console
You see the following error code when you try to start a game or app on your Xbox One console:
Error 0x803F7000
This may mean that the console was unable to verify the license for the game or app. This occurs when you're not signed in to Xbox Live.
Solutions
Try the following solutions to resolve this problem.
Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Solution 2: Sign in to Xbox Live using the account that made the purchase
Check that you're signed in to the Xbox Live account that purchased the game or app on the Xbox One console. Additionally, check that you're connected to Xbox Live.
To test your connection, follow these steps:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Highlight Network, and then select Network settings.
- Select Test network connection.
If the test confirms that you're connected, try launching the title again.
Solution 3: Set your Xbox One console as your home Xbox
If the Xbox Live service is down, we may not be able to verify your license for a digitally purchased game or app. You can fix this issue by setting your Xbox One console as your home Xbox. For more info, see How to designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox.
Note You can designate only one console as your home Xbox.
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Highlight Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
- Review the information, and then do one of the following:
- Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.
- Select This is not my home Xbox to remove the designation.
