Repair information

Repair costs vary based on the device, region, and shipping method. To price a repair request, go to Device repair, select either Repair my device or Replace an accessory, enter the repair information, and select a shipping method. The cost will be displayed and you can then proceed with or cancel the request.

Cosmetic damages, such as scratches, cracks, nicks, and normal wear and tear, are not covered under the Xbox Product Warranty.

We provide a post-service warranty. The length of the warranty depends on whether the service was in warranty or out of warranty. If your Xbox console or Kinect sensor was serviced, you’ll receive either the balance of your original warranty, or 95 days from our shipment to you, whichever is longer.

Microsoft Complete Extended Service Plan

To extend warranty coverage for your Xbox One system, you can only purchase the Microsoft Complete Extended Service Plan at the time of your console purchase. Microsoft Complete Extended Service Plan provides a total of three years of coverage for your Xbox One system. Additionally, Microsoft Complete Extended Service Plan for Xbox One provides warranty coverage for two controllers for three years.

Note If you live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada, you can add Microsoft Complete for Xbox One up to 45 days after your console purchase. Just bring your proof of purchase and device to a Microsoft retail store for inspection. Some exclusions and restrictions apply. Read the Terms and Conditions.
