Folders monitored by default with Xbox 360 as Windows Media Extender
Overview
When you use your Xbox 360 console as a Windows Media Center Extender, it automatically monitors folders on your computer. The software scans the folders on the computer and adds the following files to the appropriate sections of Windows Media Center:
Audio files
Video files
Picture files
After you set up your Xbox 360 console as an extender, the content in the monitored folders is visible and available for streaming through the Windows Media Center on your Xbox 360 console.
When you set up the Xbox 360 as an extender, the console monitors the following folders by default.
Note In this list, username is the name of the user who logged on to the computer when they set up Windows Media Center Extender.

Additional information
If you add content to the monitored folders on your computer, the new content is automatically visible and ready for streaming in the Windows Media Center library on your Xbox 360 console.
If you stop monitoring a folder on your computer, that does not remove content from the Windows Media Center library on your console. To delete this content, you must do the following:
Clear the existing Windows Media Center connection data.
Run Windows Media Center Extender Setup again.
After you set up your Xbox 360, you can use Library Setup on the Windows Media Center Extender to add content. This content can come from other computers that are running Windows Media Center, or from network shares.
The Windows Media Center Extender account must have the following permissions. This is to access the content that is stored on computers running Windows Media Center or stored on network shares:

You may have to set these permissions manually.
Typically, the Windows Media Center Extender account name begins with "MCX." For example, a Windows Media Center Extender account name is "MCX1" or "MCX2."
