Use input learning mode on Xbox One

Input learning mode helps you get to know the buttons on your Xbox controller or keyboard.

  1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select System > Settings.
  2. Select Ease of Access > Narrator, and then select Narrator on.
  3. Choose Input learning mode on. Once your Xbox is set to input learning mode, Narrator will read back what you pressed on your controller or keyboard. For example, if you move the left stick, Narrator will say, “Left stick.”

Double-tap the A button  to turn off input learning mode.
