Error 876C0002 occurs when you try to pin an item to your Home screen
You see the following error code when you try to pin a game or an app to your Home screen:
This means we weren’t able to set the pin that you requested.
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions, and then try to set your pin again.
Solution 1: Verify that you’re signed in to your console
See the Xbox One Sign-In Solution to verify that you’re signed in to your console.
Solution 2: Test your connection to Xbox Live
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
- Scroll to Settings and select All Settings.
- Under Network, select Network Settings.
- Select Test Network Connection. If the connection test is successful, your console will connect to Xbox Live.
