Channel list or show information is incorrect or missing from the OneGuide

Under certain circumstances, the Xbox OneGuide on the Xbox One console may not display your channel lineup, may show incorrect information, or may not show any information at all. This is generally due to either incorrect settings or a delay in receiving information from Xbox Live.

Important The accuracy of the channel lineup information depends on the public channel lineup databases shared by cable channel providers. There may be a delay between the updating of these databases and changes to your local channel lineup.

    Solutions

To resolve this problem, try the following solutions.

Solution 1: Connect to Xbox Live

Connect to Xbox Live to view your channel information in the OneGuide. You can’t see your channel information when you’re offline.

Solution 2: Check your cable or satellite provider settings

Xbox One needs accurate information about your TV provider and channel lineup to populate the OneGuide. Here’s how to verify your channel information:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Note Double-tapping the Xbox button  opens the guide from any other screen on the console.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select TV & OneGuide.
    5. Select OneGuide.
The settings screen for Xbox OneGuide
    1. Review the OneGuide details (such as your postal code, provider, and lineup) to make sure your TV lineup is correct. For more information, see Set up live TV with your Xbox One.
Note Review your TV lineup in one of the following columns depending on your connection:
      • HDMI
      • USB
      • Internet TV

    Solution 3: Clear OneGuide

Clear your OneGuide information and then refresh it to make sure you have the latest information from Xbox Live. Here’s how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Note Double-tapping the Xbox button  opens the guide from any other screen on the console.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select TV & OneGuide.
    5. Select OneGuide.
    6. Select Clear OneGuide.

Solution 4: Adjust your channel filtering

Xbox One may be set to filter some of your channels based on resolution. You can adjust this filtering in Settings. Here’s how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Note Double-tapping the Xbox button  opens the guide from any other screen on the console.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select TV & OneGuide.
    5. Select OneGuide.
    6. Select Show all HD and SD channels to ensure that all channels are present in the OneGuide. For more information, see Personalize OneGuide on Xbox One.

Solution 5: Report the missing channel using the OneGuide issue reporter

You can now report OneGuide problems right from your Xbox One console. For more information, see How to use the OneGuide issue reporter on your Xbox One console.
