Discover tournaments in the Xbox app

Ready to put your gaming skills to the test? With Arena on Xbox Live, players compete in online tournaments for all skill levels. Register for a tournament, team up with friends, or go solo (depending on the game) and play for ultimate bragging rights!

When you’re on the go, use the Xbox app on any Windows 10 device to register, create tournaments, and even play in tournaments with your gaming PC. You can also use the Xbox app on your iOS or Android mobile device to get tournament notifications.

To discover tournaments in the Xbox app:

  1. Select the Start button, then select Xbox .
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  3. In Friends & clubs, choose a club that you’re a member of.
  4. Select the Tournaments tab. From there, choose a tournament and register for it.

To create a tournament in the Xbox app, you’ll first need to own a club or be an admin of one. If you don’t have a club, create one—it only takes a few minutes. In the Xbox app, select Clubs, then select Create a club.

To create a tournament:

  1. Select the Start button, then select Xbox .
  2. In Friends & clubs, choose a club that you own or are the admin of.
  3. In a club, select the Tournaments tab, then select Create tournament.
  4. Choose a game, then customize your tournament—name, start time, and other details.
  5. When you’re done customizing, select Create tournament. Your tournament will appear in the Tournaments section of the club.

Depending on the type of club you own or are the admin of (public, private, or hidden), club members or players from the Xbox community can go to your club and join your tournament played on Xbox One or Windows 10 (or both).
