You see the following error code and message when making a purchase from your Xbox One console:
PBR75550 We couldn’t get authorization for this.
Try a different or new way to pay. If you have more questions, ask your bank.
This means that there’s an issue with the approval authorization of the attempted purchase.
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions.
Solution 1: Contact your financial institution
Contact your credit card company or bank and inquire about your purchasing allowances and whether you have permission to make online purchases with your payment option.
Solution 2: Add a payment option
To do this, go to Change a payment option, select Add payment option on the left side of the screen, and then follow the instructions.
