The Paramount Movies app doesn't respond

If the Paramount Movies app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to "Paramount Movies."
  6. Select Delete.
  7. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to apps and then Browse apps.
  8. Select the Paramount Movies app.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

If the problem isn’t resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

The Paramount Movies app does not start or respond to input.

Delete the Paramount Movies app from your Xbox 360 console and download it again.

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device (most likely the Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to Paramount Movies.
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps, and then select Paramount Movies.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

You receive the error, “Sorry, Paramount service isn’t available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to xbox.com/status.”

Select Retry to try to connect to the Paramount service again, or exit the app and try again later.

Check Service status to see if there are any current issues with the Paramount Movies service.

You receive the error, “The current network cannot support quality video playback. The current video has been paused and you may choose to continue at a later time.”

Your Internet connection is not able to support high-quality-video playback at the current time. Try the Xbox Live slow performance solution, and then try to watch the movie again.
