Error 8382025C occurs when making a purchase with PayPal on Xbox 360

You see the following error code and message when you’re using PayPal to make a purchase on your Xbox 360 console:

Status code: 8382025C

Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later.

This means that the PayPal account you’re trying to add is not supported. Microsoft only supports PayPal accounts that have a credit card or confirmed bank account as a funding source.

Solution 1: Update your PayPal account with a different funding source

Update your PayPal account with either a credit card or a confirmed bank account as a funding source.

Solution 2: Use a different payment option

It's easy to change your payment option. Go to Change a payment option, select Add payment option on the left side of the screen, and then follow the instructions.
