Error 64 occurs when you’re using Kinect for Xbox 360
You see the following error message when you use your Kinect Sensor for Xbox 360:
Kinect couldn’t hear the whole calibration tone.
Error code 64
This means the Kinect sensor microphone is having a problem hearing you.
Solutions
Solution 1: Select “More info” and then “Try again”
When you get the error, select More Info to see suggestions on how to correct the problem. After you make the suggested changes, select Try Again to run the test again.
Solution 2: Make sure the Kinect sensor is positioned correctly

Solution 3: Request a repair
If the first two solutions didn’t resolve the problem, your Kinect sensor needs to be repaired. See Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced.
