Narrator keyboard shortcuts on Xbox One
If you connect a USB keyboard to your Xbox One, you can use the following keyboard commands with Narrator. Once you turn Narrator on, both the Caps lock and Insert keys serve as the Narrator key by default.
Turn on Narrator: press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter. Press them again to stop.
Switch between reading modes: Narrator + Page up/page down
Move to previous or next item: Narrator + left/right arrow
Open the guide: Press the Windows logo key.
Increase or decrease voice speed: Ctrl + Narrator + plus/minus key (+/-)
Open the Power menu: Windows logo key + X
Open the View menu: Windows logo key + V
See menu options: Windows logo key + M
Stop reading: Ctrl
Read current date and time: Narrator + F12
Read item: Narrator + Tab
Read item spelled out: Narrator + Tab twice quickly
Repeat phrase: Narrator + X
Lock Narrator key: Narrator + Z
Read current line: Narrator + I
Read next line: Narrator + O
Read previous line: Narrator + U
Read current word: Narrator + K
Read next word: Narrator + L
Read previous word: Narrator + J
Read document: Narrator + C
Move to last item in containing area: Narrator + Q
Move to beginning of text: Narrator + B
Move to end of text: Narrator + E
Jump to next item: Narrator + Right arrow
Jump to previous item: Narrator + Left arrow
Jump to linked item: Narrator + A
Go back one item: Narrator + Backspace
