Voice search using Kinect decommissioned on Xbox 360
When using voice search with Kinect on your Xbox 360, you receive the following message:
Sorry, can’t process speech right now. Try again later.
This is because the voice search function for Kinect on Xbox 360 has been decommissioned.
Note All other voice options will continue to work. Only the Search function is being decommissioned at this time.
Solution
To search on your Xbox 360, use your controller to navigate and type in your search criteria. For example, if you’re searching for a specific game, go to Select games > Browse games > Search games.
You can still use voice commands to get to the Search page. From there, however, you’ll need to type in your search criteria.
