Error C00D11E7 occurs when using the Zune software
Note As of November 15, 2015, the Zune service has been discontinued. This may cause errors when attempting to stream or download content or update the service.
You see the following error code when you try to use the Zune software:

This means that the Zune software can’t play the content because of a digital rights management (DRM) error.
Note This error can also occur if the content is no longer available in the Marketplace.
Solutions
To resolve this problem, remove the song that you can’t play from every location you’ve saved it to, such as your Zune collection and any playlists. Here’s how:
Remove songs from a playlist
- Start the Zune software. At the top of the screen, select collection, select MUSIC, and then select PLAYLISTS.
- To find a song’s location, type the song title in the search box. The results will show every playlist that includes the song.
- Click the song title to open the playlist, right-click the song, and then click Remove from playlist.
- If the songs are listed consecutively, press and hold the Shift key while selecting them. Right-click the selected items, and then click Remove from playlist.
- If the songs aren’t listed consecutively, press and hold the Ctrl key while selecting them. Right-click the selected items, and then click Remove from playlist.
To remove multiple songs simultaneously, do one of the following:
Remove songs from your collection
- In the Zune software, right-click the song in your collection and then click Delete.
- If prompted, select one of these options:

- Click Settings at the top of the screen.
- Click Software in the upper-left corner of the screen, and then click Collection in the list on the left.
- Click the Restore button in the center of the screen.
- Remove from your collection and from your computer
