The HBO Nordic app doesn't respond

If the HBO Nordic app doesn't respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and highlight the HBO Nordic app. Press the Y button to access Game Options.
  6. Select Delete, and then confirm that you want to delete all items related to the app.
  7. Go back to the Dashboard.
  8. Go to apps and then to Browse Apps, or Search Apps.
  9. Browse or search for the HBO Nordic app and then select it.
  10. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

If the app still doesn't respond, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the HBO Nordic app.

Connectivity errors

  • HBO Nordic Server Unavailable
    Sorry, HBO Nordic isn’t available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to
    www.xbox.com/status.
  • Sorry, the HBO Nordic server isn't available right now. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • Sorry, watchlist service isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • This application is currently experiencing some issues. Please restart the application.

Go to Service status to check for current problems with the service.

If there are no current problems and you get the error message when you try to start the HBO Nordic app or access content in the app, wait about a minute and then restart the app.

If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the HBO Nordic app.

If the problem is not resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Availability errors

  • Sorry for the wait. If you want, you can keep waiting or go back to the previous screen.
  • Video unavailable. Sorry, the video you're interested in is no longer available.
  • The content you have selected is premium content and is not yet available for playback on the Xbox.
  • The video is currently not available.

If you get one of these errors, select a different program to watch.
